Get an old baking tin or metal tray, put them all in it, cover liberally in Mr Muscle oven cleaner, leave it to soak over night in the garage (itll stink the house out so dont leave it in the house. After that, wire wool to agitate.

I've got some of this stuff you put in a bag. Does anyone know it it's okay to put the inner glass panel of the oven door in it? The instructions mention alloy is a no no.

Glass is pretty much impervious to everything except hydrofluoric acid IIRC. And being dropped of course!

Oven Pride is the business.

I will shamefully admit I didnt clean the over in my entire 7.5 years in my flat.

Soaking the wire shelves and their brackets in Oven Pride brought them up good as new after trying all sorts of spray on cleaners and scourers.
+1 Did SWMBO's oven with this last week. Not cleaned for a couple of years, came up like new with NO rubbing, just leave it to soak overnight. Should be a Ronseal product............

It will oxidise the cast ali part of the ring and make them a little darker, I've mentioned this in an earlier post

Plus one from me. It's amazing how much difference having a massive bath of acid makes to the cleanliness.[sean connery mode]Since they put the wife in there, the oven never gets dirty [/sean connery mode]
