Electricity Meter Increased by 5000kwh

The gas costs are sadly much higher, which is why my house is largely freezing!

Between 1st July and 16th Feb we've used 1992kw/h of electricity.

Gas is a different matter though, we seem to be averaging about 5m3 a day, or 56kw/h.

well I think the meter is faulty as it's dropped bfrom 20500 to 19000 so I doubt it's used negative kwh.

Might be a stupid question, but are you sure it is a single rate meter?
