The Low Budget DIY Bathroom Refurb
Discussion
2 of these should do the job:

I would remove the existing couplers as they do look a bit shonky. Easiest thing is just to cut them off. Use something like this though, don't use a hacksaw:

HTH mate
ETA - take the tap along to Screwfix just to be certain of the size of the fittings.

Looks like the flexi tails have 3/8" fittings.
Specific adaptors are available , designing for the job.

Thx bomma!
Sorry if I'm being thick but that link says 1/2 inch, do I not need 3/4 then?
No you need 1/2 inch, and no you're not being thick! Pipe fitting sizes can be strange things, if you measure them with a ruler a ''1/2 inch'' fitting is actually approx 3/4 inch, whereas a ''3/4 inch'' fitting is just over an inch Sorry if I'm being thick but that link says 1/2 inch, do I not need 3/4 then?
Like I said, take the tap along with you to be 100% sure
Sorry DoubleSix they do look like 3/8 as Neil YVM said, so these are the bits you'll want:

Plumb Warehouse were offering best prices when I sourced mine. Very helpful over phone too.
Properly chuffed with the quality of the Grohe stuff. Paid a bit more to get a shower rail with solid metal brackets and clamps as even Grohe have that horrible faux chrome plastic stuff on their cheapest lines.

Just wanted to chime in to say what a fantastic job you've done so far. Great work. Given that you're also posting costs to date, I can't help but paraphrase the Mastercard slogan. Once you've finished it all, every time you go in to your bathroom, knowing that "i did that" will feel priceless.
Certainly did when I did my own bathroom a few years ago (not even a patch on what you've done however!).
