Give the pipe a quick coat of white paint, see if it looks so 'obvious'... smile

Ok, a bit of jiggling gives me this, the sink isn't central in the window but perhaps it never was, I can't recall tbh...

Acceeptable?

It looks like an emergency overflow thingy. I've renewed it as it was there previously but am not entirely happy with it's presence.

Any way I can get rid?

New modern flush valve will overflow internally.

Yes. Pic of the inside of the cistern perchance, DoubleSix? smile

Got the toilet and basin sorted but now pulling my hair out with this bloody bath overflow/waste.

I wanted to renew the cheap bath waste with heavy brass but trying to acheive a decent seal with the stupid banjo nonsense is like pissing in the wind!!

The cheap B&Q one I removed was at least watertight due to being a one piece design that does away with the banjo.

Anyone know of a decent one piece product to resolve?

You won't go wrong with McAlpine stuff.

As you've found cheap stuff, is cheap tat, not low cost.

You said it Neil!

That banjo and acrylic washer nonsense was a marvel of poor design, quite unbelievable really.

The McAlpine stuff is proving to be worth every penny.

The McAlpine would be my first choice too, DoubleSix. The banjo system must have been designed by a committee that never met... smile
