I drive past regularly, unfortunately in my opinion they are too close to comfort to a line of pylons (mentioned earlier in the thread). If it wasn't for this I think they would be better received and people would probably care less.
If they were on the market for £10 they would sell tomorrow. If they were on the market for £1mill they wont ever sell. Somewhere in the middle is the right price.

Just been to view one of these houses - It appears 3 out of 11 have sold but 7 of them are currently rented out and haven’t been put on the market.

It appears that there is a lot of history here however after having one checked by a structural engineer and a reputable builder they’ve come back as a sound investment. I really can’t see any other houses in close proximity where you have such large rooms and amazing views - Yes there are pylons but being there late at night when the sun comes down is pretty epic and worth every penny.

That’s a bit suspect. Reads like an estate agent or developer blurb. Each to their own opinion however.

Just out of interest what should my first post be like? If there’s a template I can cut and paste then feel free.

Some people on here have zero brain cells and nothing better to do than be keyboard warriors.

I’m defo not an estate agent and have no interest in this development but then reading the comments some of you numbskulls write tells me none of you could afford a house like this.

If you have nothing but negativity then keep scrolling and troll someone else.

Maybe something that’s not reviving a 4 year old thread to profuse positively about some houses that have largely been discussed negatively and aren’t selling, and probably shows up if you google them?

Maybe your first post on pistonheads could be responding to something a bit more recent, maybe something to do with cars. Maybe then people would be less suspicious.

But good flounce, you’ll fit in well here.
Could I recommend Sir towards the “News Politics and Economics” section? You may find a cosy little home there.

Do you know why they are not selling? Presume you were looking to buy? Has it been stood empty for all this time - does it make you think twice?

Why did you go to view them if you have no interest in them? Further to that why spend money on having an engineer and builder check them out?

Interesting these did come on our radar around 2016 but ultimately we decided to stay in the City, might be worth contemplating now we are considering moving out, who is marketing them?

Questions:

a) why did you sign up to PH?
b) how did you navigate to this thread and decide that a reply here would be the first post you'd make?
c) why have you not commented on other posts yet?
