Pond liner and underlay

Very nice, what pump/filter are you using for that size?
The filter is a Nexus EasyPod, gravity fed by a 4inch feed from a bottom drain.Return is through a 12,000 ltr an hour Hailea pond pump, too powerful for the EasyPod but it pulls from both the filter and a skimmer with ball valves on both to adjust the flow.
The pump drives the waterfall via a UV filter. All hidden under the decking.

How's the easy pod coping with that volume of water how are your nitrate nitrite etc?
Copes well, as said I've had to split the pump flow between a skimmer and the EasyPod to keep the Easypod below it's 10,000ltr an hour flow limit but doing well.Edited by myvision on Thursday 5th May 20:01
Obviously stocking and feeding is key and a weekly filter cleaning cycle.
Readings from the weekend below, ph is what it is for where I live but everything else doing well.

What's that app and test kit you've got there?Obviously stocking and feeding is key and a weekly filter cleaning cycle.

My pod wouldn't cope on its own on 10,000 litres so i had to get a nexus 200 on the bottom drain and put the pod on the skimmer.

The app is this, JBL Pro Scan
Not as accurate as a drop test kit but a lot easier and as such you are more likely to carry out regular testing.
Kit is a tube full of test strips and a background card.
The app provides a 6o second count down after dipping the test strip in the pond water before a new screen opens ready to photograph the test strip against the card, Line the test strip up with the centre section of the card and take a photo using the app.
The app then generates the report in my previous post. It doesn't do ammonia however so you'll need a standalone test strip for that.
You can save the readings and click on each parameter for more detailed info.

Will look at that might be a way to get the kids to do the testing if they use an app it might interest them.

The app and strips are suitable for tropical fresh and salt water aquariums too. Will look at that might be a way to get the kids to do the testing if they use an app it might interest them.
You chose from a menu what it is you are testing then of course the report is relevant to that application with the relevant parameters to match.
