What the hell is wrong with people?

I work in Huntingdona and around 90% of our production staff are Polish. They're all hard-working, polite, decent people who work, pay tax and contribute. What kind of sick individual posts things like that outside a primary school and through peoples' doors?

Maybe the sort of people who made up the 90% of workers before they were displaced by the polish.

They weren't displaced. We can't fill our production lines with those good ol' English workers because they don't want to do it. These jobs are all available to the English but applications are few and far between. If we didn't employ hundreds of Polish workers, our output would be on the floor.

Then maybe they should find out why they were displaced and figure out what they are going to do about their unwillingness to compete with the Poles for the work. No one forced the Poles to come here, and no one forced the indigenous population not to do the work. If the issue is the locals won't work for the wages on offer then look in the mirror and ask whether you're prepared to pay for a living wage at the tills in the supermarkets. Immigration is the symptom not the problem.

Let the police do their job and get these people caught and charged.

My son says that some of the Colombian girls at his uni have received similar things posted through their letter boxes. Whether someone thinks they are being funny , drunk , or truly unpleasant remains to be seen. But this kind of rubbish needs nipping in the bud to make sure it is only post Brexit euphoric stupidity by stupid people and not something that is allowed any space to germinate.

Here in West London we have a large Polish and the Polish war Memorial. We didn't complain then did we, when a previous generation of Polish young men came to Britain to fight with the RAF and help defeat the Nazis.

Nonsense, if the wages offered are less of an insult, the applications will come in. I've seen the conditions some foreign workers will endure as they see it as a short term fix.

And the Polish paratroopers who fought side by side with our boys, yes I voted leave and I think immigration is out of control but these cards are disgusting and I believe 99.9% of British leave voters would agree with me.

Germinate? This has been growing for a long time.
It doesn't surprise me that this is happening now.

It was probably a better option that living in Nazi occupied Poland, though.

Indeed, no excuse for it at all, track down the culprits and make an example.

Most Poles lived thru Nazi occupation, most of the young men in the Polish Air Force based in Ruislip did not.

I certainly do, no problem with Polish workers at all, a large number of my colleagues are Polish.

One issue we have where I live is you will get 10+ Adult immigrants to a house so they can live here far cheaper than say a married couple with 2 kids living in the same house.

I agree on all counts BTW, but the TAXES word you highlight is an interesting one. Many workers on lower paid jobs, irrespective of country of origin pay their NIC and PAYE, but with the tax credit system we have he payments can be effectively wiped out. It depends on circumstances, but its a comment made sometimes that doesnt always show the full picture.

I still reckon this is brainless schoolkids who know three fifths of fk all.

This is making me very angry.

It's angers me that these scumbags have no idea what a superb and brave ally the Polish have been to the UK in past times (and one that we've treated abominably afterwards), let alone their hard work now.
