Our bill has just arrived.
Four bed end of terrace house, wife at home with baby, washing machine, tumbler dryer, dishwasher all on at least once a day, electric cooker/hob, 6 year old boy who likes to watch TV and Sonos on a lot

Electric - 1,414 kWh (15.88 p/day)
Total cost (inc. standing charge & vat) - £148.42 / £1.66 p/day
Gas (old glow worm combi boiler) - £65.53 for the same period (£0.73 p/day) - at least 1 bath p/night for the kids and the heating was on a bit in early April.
