Our former cleaner left such a sheen on wooden furniture it was unbelievable, She said her Mother was French and her Father was from Poland, that explained the incredible results, she was a French Polisher.

Tried a cleaner from Scandinavia once, never again. Her English wasn't great and not much got done.

I told her everything I wanted cleaning, two minutes later she said she was 'Finnish' and disappeared with the money...

£10 per hour and we supply all materials/consumables.
Local lady who lives in the same village - 2 hours on a Wednesday and gets through an impressive amount of work.

We used to have a second cleaner who did all day, every other Saturday. We could never tell the Wednesday lady about the Saturday lady, as we knew she would be offended!
The bit that puzzled me, was that the Saturday one, travelled from Solihull, to clean in Windsor for the whole of Friday, slept there, came to us, near Marlow on Saturday, slept in Windsor again on Saturday night and then cleaned another place for all of Sunday in Rugby.

We have a maid who lives in, general cleaning of the house back yard, watering plants, ironing, washing up, feeding the dogs etc.

Costs about 60 a month.

No, we don't live in England. coffee
