Repair/replace bell cast

Time to repair/rebuild the bell cast around the rendering and above the windows on the back of the house.

The original galvanised steel has almost disappeared so needs to be replaced with uPVC and a bit of render. Anyone know of a specific replacement trim or is it a case of having to cut the old out, replace with a cut down edge and render new.

Basically just remove the old bellcast and the render around it, fit new bead and patch up the render; no short cut really. Are you doing it yourself, if so use S/S bead, it's a bit more rigid than the plastic stuff.

Screwfix sell bell bead in plastic only. If you're local to Aylesbury I have a spare length you can have.

Thanks for the offer (I'm in Devon) and advice. Cut the first one out yesterday and will be off to SFix in a bit to pick up a pack. Looks like the only dry day for a week so better make a start!
