Seems to be the next 'double glazing' type sales thing now solar is done.

You could build a fking extension for £28k + VAT.

Interested in this too. Just had a quote from a company that specialises in this sort of thing and they want 28k plus VAT. Its a big Connie at about 10m by 3m ish but still.
£28k! Who quoted for it? Just so I know who to avoid if I end up getting quotes in.

It used to be £1.5k per m2 + VAT more recently we're seeing upwards of £2k+vat so that 30m2 quote you had should have between £54k- £72k all day long.

Are those lightweight tile systems good roofer?

As in, do they last longer than the poly roofing sheets?
Yes, look up Britmet, in most cases you can get them in single length sheets. We do a lot of flat to pitch conversions with them.

I've looked at a couple of houses recently where the owners have changed to very expensive blue glazing (not sure what product) for the roof in their large conservatories and that has given them enough confidence in heat retention to knock them through into other rooms. I'd have to visit a house like that in winter to be convinced but both swore by it.
