Roof Tiles

Hi, and thanks in advance for any replies.
How would I clean the moss off my roof tiles plus keep them clean all year round? Is this something I could do or is it one for roof tiler/professional?

Depends what sort of property, bungalow with a shallow roof id have a go myself but not my house, steep roof and two stories, no thanks...Ive had a couple of quotes to do mine as ive got a huge amount of moss currently. Cost to clean manually (dont for god sake jetwash it) and treat with moss preventer, quotes around £850 for a mid sized 4 bed detached house.
