Painting pressure treated wood gate - paint recommendations

Hi folks,

we've just ordered several new gates all dressed wood, pressure treated, which we want to paint a fairly dark grey.

I was looking a cuprinol shades

I noticed the wood should be treated with preservative first, then painted, would I still need to do that anyway, has anyone used this paint does it weather well?

Or would I better going down the undercoat / topcoat route?
