Thing is, you're only actually lifting it 25mm....Do you mind if I call bullst ?
Do stop being a prat.
25 on top of the educating battens and 25 battens. There are 26 pitches to do.
I have no interest in your petty Miss Marple mission
I think I called bull on you previously, and do so again. You slate others in this post citing bull, but you are the king of bull yourself.

Now fkoff, and cite your bull elsewhere, knob. 2 houses both listed at 300k ? Bullstter !

To conclude, as you seem such a positive chap, you haven't got any idea who is on here. What I have said is true and correct and if you cant get that the new batten face will be 50mm above the existing batten face not 25mm that's your problem. The fact you don't understand or believe it is totally irrelevant. I wish you well on trying to act all knowing in future and only sorry it didn't work out for you on this thread
Good day.

All roofs have there day and repairing that one will only result it it failing elsewhere id imagine.
Although i can definitely see the appeal of keeping it original.

Re-roofing it in a single ply like sarnafil is what i would do, they even do lead effect battens that can be welded on to give the same look, although the lead grey is quite a bit darker than aged lead.

You can get up to 25 yrs guarantee too and will last alot longer. Just make sure its installed to a high standard.

Below is a roof we just installed at Langdale spa in the lakes... this was used with decor profiles instead of the wider batten effect profiles..
gives you an idea. But again nice to keep it as original as possible in many peoples eyes
