For those that stream, it was released in America in March 2016 so its out there to binge watch with S2 showing.

Those that are watching the UK version, youll love Robert laugh

Last weekend I watched the first two episodes on terrestrial tv and was hooked. I am now a third of the way through season two and I have to say my wife and I are totally hooked. This programme is brilliant if you like people watching.
Season two has a lot more violence in it and I am speechless at how the inmates are treated, they never get to see the sun on their faces until they are released.
This programme is a must watch.

I dont get how the crew can get so close to the inmates and record everything without the inmates noticing or not caring if you like or even the microphones in the bedrooms. I get that these crims arent the most intelligent, hence they got caught but still.

At the same time, do you or would you feel sorry for them if they hurt your family?

The crew have been producing a documentary for a few months before any people were introduced for the experiment so people being interviewed was seen as normal. If you watch season two, when the sheriff unveils what has been going on to the correction officers you see that they have no idea what had been going on.
I hope other jails roll out this programme as it has been compelling tv from start to finish.

Ive watched 2 episodes of this and still dont know if its actually real or not, it all seems a bit too weird and setup to me. But then there was that one guy who got punched in the head a few times, probably hard to set that up.

Which one is currently showing on Channel 4?

Where can I watch season 2 (Or season 1 for that matter)? I always manage to miss the episodes on a Thursday.

Started watching this last week, enjoying it. However, it's a bit too 'American' at times...countless minutes wasted spent reiterating info we've already heard.

With all the ads cut out, its only 40 minutes long with the end show being a chat show recap lasting 90 minutes. S1 has a where are they now follow ups but didnt watch it as didnt care tbh.

S2 is largely the same except different instances occur and experiences and worth a watch. I wonder if, with selective editting, what happens in S2 must have occurred in S1 but if they showed it, S2 wouldnt have much to go on?

To me S2 also shows more of the outside family interaction and how it affects the inmates more/focuses on the psychological aspect

What i dont get is that they dont mention rape or shanking, except in one instance and it was a normal inmate commenting
