Cavity wall insulation

What about drilling from the inside?
There's no reason it can't be done from the inside save for the mess it makes of the decorating and plaster. Many new build houses are put up with the walls empty then pumped from the inside with fibre insulation prior to plastering. Allows a much larger diameter hole to be used too as the making good isn't visible.DELETED: Comment made by a member who's account has been deleted.
We had someone knock on the door offering same last March. I've been considering CWI for years, but when I've asked the question "is there a warranty if damp develops" the answer has always been "NO". This time, however the answer was yes, and gov't backed as well - the guy gave us a leaflet which my daughter took and did online research whilst the guy did his "survey and test drill". We filled out forms and had a copy (yes it was offered FOC). Several weeks later we hadn't heard so I gave them a call. It was first week of June, so I said to my Wife "what's the bet that after brexit result there were no funds any more?" He said "no funds any more (didn't quote brexit ), but we could have it at low cost (about £300)...... Yeah great, I suspect that would turn out to be £500, so no thanks!
