Evening gang

Possibly overthinking this - but I noticed the gas stove burners have a few intermittent orange tinges - they flicker sporadically are not solid yellow/orange. but I've tried to take a picture to show it in action. The burners themselves seem clean - I've scraped out any crud as best I can, and they are getting as hot as they ever normally do, just unsure what is "normal".

They may have always been like this and I've just never noticed, but like anything on the internet, as soon as you google a problem it gives you the worst possible outcome and I am literally about to drop down dead of CO2.

Looks like a healthy flame picture to me, a bit of orange is normal. You need to worry when you have floppy orange flames.

Cheers Rickyy, that was about as "bad" as it gets, it's normally a little less orange. The Mrs noticed it, googled, saw that we were all on a crash course to disaster and put the fear of god into me. Same thing as googling medical symptoms, you always end up self diagnosing the big C-word..

Cheers again fella.

I get that more if I've been using cleaning sprays in the kitchen recently.

Peace of mind. £25.
Not being dead. Priceless. wink

My hob is brand new. No orange at all.

One is on it's way, fair call and worth it for £25 or whatever - cheers.
