My kitchen units have ultima written inside which I know DIY supply, others may do too. Quality is pretty good, mine is a matt painted finish and it is open to chips from clumsy wives clunking pans in and out of draws but other than that all good. It came with our house but had only just been fitted.
in another thread I said:
I used DIY Kitchens this year.
BRILLIANT.
Great price. you have to order on line, but after that do everything on the phone - their service is good.
I had my kitchen installed by a guy who is a full time kitchen fitter - he was extremely pleased with the quality and design of the units.
It's the small things that surprise, like the freebie tea and biccies for the installer, the fact that there are plenty of legs, shelf pins, joining barrel screws etc. They use good quality brackets, and everything comes assembled and very well packed. The delivery teams deliver, not just chuck it off the lorry.
2 years on - I'm still smiling.BRILLIANT.

We used them last year. No complaints, we visited the showroom to check the quality of the painted alabaster unit prior to ordering.
In a similar vein, no complaints with wood worktops ordered from worktop express.
We did a lot comparing of prices at various competitors (sale pricing of course, as they all seem to be). Nothing really came close for price/quality.
Highly recommended.

I fitted one for my in-laws recently and it was, and remains, spot on. Had an issue with a couple of damaged panels and it was no bother getting replacements.
Only issue was an infil panel in the space between the oven/microwave and top opening cupboard above. I had to cut it down, bevel the edge with a hand plane, paint it with several coats of matching(ish) colour paint and fix it with magnets, there was no other way to get in to screw it in place. That one panel took longer to fit than the entire row of base and wall units!!

Another DIY (+Worktop express) customer here, all still looked great after two years
Don't over or under order though ! We had to send back two giant end panels and could only use Shiply. Then we had to order some more plinth or whatever and it was another £35 shipping.
+1 to diy kitchens & worktop express. Although I'm not sure the quality of the units is particularly better than anywhere else - they all seem identical to me. The price swung it. As said it's branded 'Ultima'. The soft close mechanisms provided are the ones which clip onto the hinges, not integral. Don't know if that was just an option I missed or if it matters to you Don't over or under order though ! We had to send back two giant end panels and could only use Shiply. Make sure you check the order, we had a few bits missing and it took a couple of weeks to get them to ship (in 2 separate shipments).
Just finished mine - couldn`t fault it in any way. Ours was at the cheaper end as well. To get your order right review it a few times & get a mate to confirm it all - though they will help out with any specific queries. You have about 10 days to amend it online if you suddenly realise at 4am that you`ve forgotten a plinth!
We`re not far away but on our visit to the showrooms there were potential customers there from Hampshire, Essex & London - up on the train to Doncaster & a courtesy car to the showroom & back. The London chap was already commited & his installer reckoned they were at least on a par with Howdens.
They do supply to several smaller bijou kitchen installers with their own showrooms, I expect the mark up is horrific.
If they did a full design & install service they would wipe the floor with the competition.
Good luck with it!
PS - Magnet price for a 4 drawer pan unit - £1700 - it was embarrassing but I burst out laughing ...

You only have to look at their Trust Pilot score - people generally go on there to complain.

I think I'll be getting our new kitchen from DIY kitchens, good reviews and look good. I like the Luca gloss handle less.
One question though, I'm fairly confident in fitting all the units and I'm sure I can get someone to do a design (although I think I've 99% designed it myself).
Let's say your kitchen is 3736mm wide for example, let's say the units make up a total of 3600mm. What do you do with the additional 136mm? Is it simply a case of buying a panel and cutting it down? How do you do that with high gloss? Does it work?

I might be wrong on this, but using combinations of different std widths, I'm pretty sure you'll never be more than 100mm short on a run, and most folk forget to put in a tray space. One question though, I'm fairly confident in fitting all the units and I'm sure I can get someone to do a design (although I think I've 99% designed it myself).
