I've just botched a felt roof - will it last?

The only thing you may want to do is nail a treated lath down the joints and a right angle cover strip over the verges , ends , to stop the wind getting hold of any loose edges . Your roofing job will last for ages , don't worry about it , I've seen a lot of so called pros do worse . paulwirral said:
You've actually done it the correct way , always dress the felt to the fall of the roof , although I will say it doesn't really matter on a shed roof that has a good fall on it , either way is fine , it's just quicker to run it across hence why it's usually done that way .
