I saw this in Guildford last summer, I presume it to genuine unless anyone can say otherwise, not sure on the exact model though, did a search online but came up with various models that seem very similar to each other. Would be grateful if someone could shed any light,
Thanks

It's a 275 GTB/4. Looks genuine to me.

Yes, I don't think it's possible to get a replica of a 275.

No, I lightened the OP's image and the number plate appears to be WGC430F - the only digit I'm not sure about is the 'W'.

Odds on it being this one?

Silver, RHD - and Talacrest are in Ascot, hardly a million miles from Guildford.

Edit: Just seen the other replies about the plate... Definitely not that other one, the wheel's on the wrong side. WGC430F is definitely registered as a Ferrari, and is 3.3 litres, so is a 275.

I couldn't say if it was the one in one of those pictures, I don't remember the plate and didn't take a picture of it, I did go a bit week in the ones when I saw it, we don't tend to see things like that where I live in Suffolk! If been to beaulieu a few days prior and didn't want to leave. Lol

It's real.

Doesn't see much use if the MOT history is accurate though!

It's either part of a private collection that doesn't get driven very often or it's been bought as an investment in the past and spends most of it's life just collecting dust.

Frankly, it's a waste of a fabulous car, and not what Enzo Ferrari wanted for it!

(And based on the MOT history, it looks as though someone drove it backwards for 251 miles between June 2003 and May 2004! wink )

Two different cars.

They must be a lot more common than we think! laugh

Oh, and isn't a mileage haircut part of the yearly service on a Ferrari? whistle

For some reason the DVLA seemed to use 'WGC ...F' suffix frequently for 1967/8 cars being permanently imported or when a private plate was removed. I had an E-type with a WGC registration and once went to look at a LHD Ghibli with one as well (should have taken some 'brave pills' and bought it)!

I believe it was a Dover area registration that was never used in period.

So I suspect the car has been imported at some stage, hence the LHD

Small issue with that theory...

DVLA show it as having been first registered in the UK on 15th March 1968, and it's clearly RHD in the photo. The wipers sweep the other way to LHD cars, too.

BUT... it used to be on the plate TUT275, which may well have been on from new, so it may not have ever had an F-suffix plate allocated (or, at least, not in the DVLA-documented era), so would have been allocated one from age-related stock when that plate was removed, around 2002-3.

I used to have a UGC...M, which had definitely been on the car from new - and that was first registered in Middlesex.

And "GC" was a London registration anyway. Middlesex as such ceased to exist (also in Licensing terms) in 1965 although it continued as part of postal addresses long afterwards.
