I think the interior space is spectacular but the exterior design is ghastly, just so low rent, but the real nightmare is just how incredibly incongruous that massive house is on that plot width / size next to a bungalow!

And 'elite area' sounds incredibly, incredibly wky.

I like the exterior design, though I do think the house is too big for the plot.

Such a bizzare garden too. They just couldnt be bothered to do any sort of landscaping design so just put a huge retaining wall in and kept it at two levels. It could have been nice with a bit of though.

The garden is fine if you want to get your friends and family over, put on orange jumpsuits and shank each other while you pick them off from the upper level with rubber bullets.

Given the post code you've probably just nailed the design criteria. rofl

Maybe they have weekly LAN parties and prefer space games.

I like the look of the interior as perhaps a shop or an office but I think I'd end up in A&E within a week as I like to walk around in just socks and that place is deadly.

Also, it's doesn't look very homely. I've seen hotel rooms that are more welcoming.

Looked better before the exterior was botoxed - https://www.google.com/maps/@51.6629713,-0.1810051...

Wow, it actually looked OK, quite smart before (still a bit nasty though!) and despite still being wide for the plot, the more natural colours of the bricks helped it blend in with it's environment.

How bizarre. Apart from the double back door that leads into the restaurant kitchen (presumably) and the size, it's much better before they tried to target the pro footballer market. Wonder what the interior was like.

For £4 Million I'd be expecting more than just the old garage door with a coat of black daubed over it too. But I guess that sums up the whole approach to that house, it's just horrible to my eyes.

Is this the reality of property near London? I know it has gone a bit crazy but I thought that sort of money would still get you somewhere seriously nice, rather than an overdone neo Georgian/grand designs mess on a non descript housing estate. Quite depressing if that is the case!

Will it sell?

There is no way that is a Cinema Room, Stupid little speakers for the room.

Also, speakers with such a dish on the grill have been out of date for about 5 years now.

Looks like an electrician attempted the AV Install.

Horrid.

When an estate agent calls the property "unusually quirky" you know it's going to be batst crazy.

£155,000 for 9 bed in Scarborough - http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

Yes, that's wallpaper.

I have no idea what's going on here, but the bats seem happy.

Isn't it Whitby just down the road that has the goth weekend?
Surely not enough trade to justify a whole hotel.
