Place needs knocking down and a small development doing. Could fit a few houses there, would suit location better.

Did they get their measurements wrong when starting at both ends and then not quite meeting in the middle?

I bet the wind whistles through there.

Horrific layout as well. 5 bedrooms yes but three of them in high traffic/noisy areas. Rubbish.

I like the secluded back garden, too, which is only overlooked by around 15 houses.

A two faced house.

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

Rear, quite normal and designed to maximise the views across the countryside.

this however is what you see when you approach the house, the back of the garage, metal stairs and the entrance door being up a few steps under the cross over and lots of bare brick. Utility room rood to the right.

not what I would call welcoming.

Who cares what the tradesman's entrance looks like?

Looks lovely from the side that matters.

That's the front, not the rear. That is what you and you and your guests would see when you go through the gates and approach the house, I think it's hideous and that could have been made much better.

Well, it is the rear, really. It's just that you approach from the rear.

And you can't even park round the front (rear) - what were they thinking?

It has a pool room/bar like all good manshuns. The dining area looks like the boardroom of Cafe Nero with a Cafe Nero shop inside it.

Lovely location but you'd have to love spitting out the window of an old Range Rover Sport to love the building.

There's a 3 car garage at the front?

I really like it, not what i'd call a real estate nightmare.

They've carried the design through to the front elevation as well. Nicely finished off with the railings.

You have to wonder if the bit in the middle was the result of the builder asking where the owner would like his new shed and getting the response 'Just stick it up between the party barn and the conference centre'.

Good points:

Garages with a view.

Handy for Silverstone.

Can't be seen from the road.

Bad points:

Guests will think it's a motel and they took a wrong turning.

Built in sex club (could be a good thing if you're that way inclined).
