Real Estate nightmares
Discussion
A chandelier in your pool room, or is that a pool in your drawing room? Either way it's totally awful.

Haha, classic EA photo dressing- I'd venture to suggest that you would never run the pool that full for fear of flooding the joint!
Nah just a level deck pool. Nicer than skimmer pools IMO. http://www.dehum.co.uk/deck_level_pools.htm

was just browsing the thread about the woman shot in Willesden (here: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... and came across this beauty at £4 million: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...
Nice from the outside perhaps but I'm not totally sold on the interior.

Looks like they forgot to remove the protective covering from cupboard doors.http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...
Whilst not a "nightmare" as such I feel this deserves a place in this thread; the promise of the outside is absolutely annihilated by the inside. That hallway.

Another popped up this morning on a search list in my local area...
Beyond being squeezed into a tiny plot look at the decor! (or lack of!)

375k to own a 2 bed in London?Beyond being squeezed into a tiny plot look at the decor! (or lack of!)

2 bed flats nearby are 450k, seems like a reasonable flip to me.

Houses on this road, especially backing onto the railway line don't normally go for much more!
Opposite side of the road, not backing onto a railway line and of a similar size but not detached for £450k

Only thing I can possibly think of is a building being put up with a thin ground floor and then a protruding first floor with more space. Otherwise it makes zero sense at all - can't even make it into parking spaces which would be worth a bit.
Could up up one floor, slight overhang backwards if allowed.Custom single beds, etc
Plus a basement = 700+sqft?

And I doubt you could get permission for a basement there especially no wider than the plot.
Someone remind us to check the planning portal in say a year or so.

Unless you buy the house next door... then you could have some space for guests, shower room, utility, etcAnd I doubt you could get permission for a basement there especially no wider than the plot.

Pricey though!
