Carpets - what do I need to know?

We have recently started replacing our wool carpets because of issues with carpet moths. No matter how much hoovering we have done we have not been able to get rid of them completely. Started putting Regency carefree elegance poly carpets into some of the rooms - not particularly cheap at £19 per square metre but it has a similar look to wool so don't mind paying extra. Also gone for 11mm good quality underlay which has made a hell of a difference to the feel.

We've had Cormar throughout most our house and have been happy with it.
