Hybrid timber/aluminium windows

Evening all. My first question, which relates to my SIPS panel self build.

Has anyone installed timber/aluminium 'hybrid' windows? i.e aluminium external cladding, timber internally? I'm looking to buy a 5m sliding patio door and a 2m sliding patio door and like the look of hybrid windows. I'd be interested to hear of any experience with them. Any recommended suppliers? (south of England ideally, but willing to consider suppliers further afield)

We're currently planning stuff with an architect who has done a lot of excellent work in the area. They recommend this type of window, specifically from Nordan and Rationel.

I've used Velfac, Nordan and others

Nordan we had triple glazed with integral blinds

They will happily supply their own detailing, packers used for rendered situations

You may need to cut the jambs on the sips so watch out for that (fixing straps)
