Thanks thought I had seen one elsewhere but sometimes your (my) memory plays tricks. It mentioned that he had been asked politely if they were fur burger merchants I believe. I also remember having a cynical thought well two actually. One it was fiction the second being that the "mate" was covering for the other half having a fling with another fella. Assuming its genuine (you tell me it's hard to tell lately) I think its another ship heading for the rocks.

If wifey asked that of me, she'd be gone before her sentence was finished. I'd expect the same from her.

If best mate asked that of me, they'd be gone too.

I'd be sad. And then I'd restart relationships with grown adults.

To be fair, if anything happened to my wife, I'd put my kids before any future woman.
