Panamera, 3.6 V6 or V8 petrol

Hi there everyone, I am searching through the forums for some quality advice from owners who are clued up with their cars, and in this case it's the Panamera but which one.
I am selling my beloved Aston Martin DB9 which has become too small now my boys have grown, what I need is a good GT car, good room, fast and engaging and reliable yet comfortable with decent boot space, anything bigger than the DB9 is a bonus. I have recently been a passenger in a Panamera V8 and really enjoyed the ride, iT was also great for my 6'boys in the back, I was pleasantly surprised. I have my eye on a few 35,000 and below , I would really appreciate your help as I have the 3.6 V6 and larger V8 in my sights .

If you don't care about the fuel bill has to be the V8!

Fuel is never an issue if you enjoy the ride and love your car, I have driven V8s and V12s 3.5 to 7.4 since being 21 and love them, the noise and feel is addictive but I am trying to get a handle on the everyday comparison of the Panamera, is the V6 underpowered, how are they to live with daily.

I have only driven the diesel but I have seriously considered a petrol in the past.

Get the V8 because:
Its within budget
Its an amazing engine
In the real world it will only cost you £20 more a month in fuel

Having said that, unless you drive like a loony then the V6 is still probably ample, sounds good, lighter on its nose, slightly greater range, and is cheaper to buy.
