Only the front diff was spinning away torque.

The rear ones seemed fine, just no grip.

Maybe six wheels spreads the weight too thinly so not enough downforce on each tyre.

Solution - either four wheels, or some bags of cement in the back.

Tyres tyres tyres.
Mine have got more tread on the inner tubes than there appears to be on those in the vid.
Yeah I know, they're clogged with mud, but decent tread should clear itself.

It was really a demonstration to show that there are certain soils in certain conditions that will fill any normal off road tyre with sticky clay and turn them into slicks. These tyres are 7.50x16 Firestone knobblies with new ones on the front and reasonable ones on the rear.
level grass field and certainly not an off road type course.
The Matbro Teleporter with four good tyres was stuck in the same place and had to push itself out with the boom!

Unfortunately for your theory there are several thousand tons of mud to be spun clear before there is progress!

Sounds like you haven't done much off roading ,raced enduro ,MX or done trials !!! yes if you have a weezy 2.5 diesel you
will struggle but a V8 a good blip will spin the mud our of the treads and give some bite,
remember centrefugal force is your friend hehe

Firstly I have been farming for over fifty years and there is not much that you can tell me about soils. I have been stuck with most vehicles from a Steiger Quadtrack to 17 tons of Caterpillar D7. Even spinning the wheels of a four equal wheel drive County where the lugs are designed to throw soil out will not clear in certain types of clay.
The Land Rover in the video is a Sandringham 6 made by Hotspur Cars of Sandringham and has a 3.5 Rover V8 driving all six. (five in this instance) so I so not think lack of power is the problem.
If the tyre spins and throws mud out what is to stop it filling up again the next time round.
In this case the clay was so sticky that it could not be thrown out.
If you had and enduro or trials on this bit of land there would not be much of a race as nobody would be moving.

I was stuck in the same place with a Matbro Teleporter with four wheel drive and new lugged tyres and had to push my self out using the telescopic boom.

Just looked at this

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACq3-d7Q3IU

Quite obvious that there is no clay fraction in the soil also there is a solid bottom under the mud. The tyres are all clean at the end of a run and kick up a lot of loose soil
If you walked through that mud in your wellies they would come out clean. If you walked through the mud in the field where the 6x6 was stuck the wellies would be twice the width and weight.

Try running through the mud !!! Flotation , grip or momentum is the key , Your conditions ether need avoiding or a aggressive
approch bull by the horns foot down momentum technique unless you like being stuck....
