Boxster tyres

I'm currently running 265/30 ZR19 Pirelli P Zeros on the rear and I'm wearing them very quickly even with more careful driving, 5000 miles if I'm lucky. What would you chaps recommend and is there any reason that I could not fit 265/35 as N spec is no longer available in 265/30 and a larger choice in the latter.
Advice please.

If you're wearing tyres that quickly I would recommend you get your geometry checked first, as you'll probably wear new tyres just as quickly.
