Track bike insurance
Discussion
Just about to collect my new trackbike which will replace my trusty old pre injection R6.
The problem is, with it been worth 5x more than the R6 I really need to insure it.
I've had a quote from BeMoto which wasn't to bad at £180 with a 10% excess for storage only, no transit cover.
Second quote was from Ryan Motorsport which was more at £240 for the same cover.
Is there anyone else I've missed, bike does have a V5 but wont be MOT'd or taxed and is for sole track use.
Thanks in advance,
Darran

Hi, thanks for the reply's.
No I'm just looking at theft only cover, not bothered about damage on track.
I don't have any no claims bonus as I stopped riding on the road some time ago. Also I don't want to have to mess around MOT'ing it each year to keep it on a normal road policy.
Cheers

Doesn't need to be mot'd to be insured. My track bike is insured (normal road policy si kept my no claims a life while I wasn't road riding) but hasn't been taxed or mot'd for a couple of years. No I'm just looking at theft only cover, not bothered about damage on track.
