The pepper challenge.
Discussion
Hi
On Easter, i headed over to my dads along with all the rest of the family. After the exchange of chocolate, he laid down a small challenge.
He offered everyone a small pepper plant. The challenge is to nurture it and to get some veg growing..
BUT he wont say the type or name of the plant.
Here are some photos
Can anyone help identify the plant and or offer any advice on how to look after it?

Make sure the pot is really free draining. Feed it with tomato food once a month and dont worry about keeping it watered. Treat it mean, if a leaf doesnt look right rip it off. It will make the plant think it is being eaten and put mire effortbinto fruiting and producing hotter fruit. Dont chop the flowers off as thats where the fruit comes from.
It could be any member of the chili family but a wild shot in the dark and I'd say it was either a jalapeno or cayenne from the leaf shape.
You can put it out during the day if it's sunny and after all the frost are gone (1st week of May) as long as it doesn't get too cold at night it can stay outside, they like full sun and plenty of water but not over watering and they don't like to sit in it.
