Solicitors - Are they all slow?!

Completed on my house this time last week.

Chain of 4, we sold ours in the 2nd week of January. Our buyers solicitors were an absolute nightmare.

They'd confirmed a date of the 12th of May, we'd all arranged removals, van hire, time off etc. Then had a phone call at 16:45 on the 10th of May saying the bottom of the chain weren't ready. Turned out they hadn't checked with them if that date was ok!

Then on completion day, I was still sat in my empty house at 15:30, because they hadn't released the funds to our Solicitors, despite having received them late morning!

I am never moving house again!
