......a new anti-bird netting system for the mrs's veg patch.

Well, not veg exactly, strawberries & rhubarb.

I gave a half-arsed attempt a few years back at making one when there were far less plants but the local bird population are way too smart.

So, armed with a few lengths of 20 & 25mm dia uPVC conduit, 20mm elbows, plant pots, concrete, netting, cable ties & of course, duct tape - construction commenced.

Took a "lot" longer to complete (properly) than I ever imagined, but it's done now, the mrs is happy & the birds are denied access.









Takes about ten minutes to erect & is demountable so can be packed away after the season (needs two people to place the netting though).

Whole cost (excl sundries & concrete) = £35
