I use http://www.artrepublic.com for some stuff that's a bit different.
I'd imagine there would be something of interest to be found in this long running thread;

Take a look at www.jeremythomasart.co.uk - prints are still reasonable but his originals are starting to climb. A very large work has recently sold for close to £10k. Here's an example -love it!
We are big fans of http://www.hicksgallery.co.uk/artist/amy-judd/ she does some big oil paintings with unbelievably fine detail to them. She also has some limited prints of each work for smaller areas or budgets.
