I can either architrave around the bathroom door (inside the bathroom) or have it tiled up to the edge and trim around it.

What would you do?

I usually tile past the line of the architrave slightly say 10mm ish, then I rebate the architrave to cover the edges, better finish as you don't have to be to concerned with the quality of the cuts

Tile trim.

If you are fully tiling a room, timber has no place there.
