Stone Floor Advice..
Discussion
I moved into my new house end of last year and didn't realise at the time the previous owner had painted the kitchen floor black...
I think there some sort of sandstone originally. Ideally, i'd like to replace which I will in time along with the kitchen but in the mean time would like to refinish them, as the paint has come off in places they've lost their shine and starting to look tatty.
Would the old paint need to be removed first? Or can it be keyed up and repainted?
Anyone recommend what products and processes to use? I'd like to refinish it in black.
I'm not entirely sure if the grout has been painted also, can this simply be regrouted up?
Thanks in advance..
