Mine too in most rooms, but 25c in the lounge.

And to be fair you can't expect people to change the heating in the house for a random tradesman.
Why wouldn't you?

How weird.

Good Lord, I don't let our thermostat go over 20, and even that's very rare, it's mostly set on 18-19.

My grand parents often complain about their gas bill, yet every single time I go round my nan is in a vest top and thin trousers, and my granddad is pottering around in a pair of shorts, then the heating is on 25.

Because my house and my rules.

Crack a window open if you must, or perhaps dress for the environment you're working in?

When we moved back into our rented out house, from the tropics a year ago, I couldn’t believe our ex-tenants had the central heating set to 18c, and promptly tweaked it up to 22 to be comfortable.

A couple of months later we had acclimated and I set it at 18 most of the time. I’ll move it to 19 when I get up at 7am, to warm it up a bit for when the daughter gets up and dressed etc, but it goes back to 18 as soon as she leaves for school, and there it stays all day long.

Maybe I should strip completely naked in the next roasting hot house, how would that go down.
