Not really. If you own it you have to pay for it, pay to maintain it and pay to store it. For your average, small builder that’s loss making compared to renting as the client needs. It all works out depending how big you are and how often you need the kit. Some bits will be cheaper to own and others to hire. I really don’t think it’s the root cause of the National construction industry’s ills. wink

An update on this - it was a breeze block surround with some thin patio slabs inside of it. Lifted the slabs up and soil 6" high to bring it up to the breeze block level. Result!

Just need to get rid of the blocks now!
