No idea on the cameras, but have just put up the ring doorbell 2, only been up since yesterday so early days but all seems ok.
Do theses require a mains lead or are they battery? I have a "wired in" door bell but wouldn't imaging that carries enough for power?Edited by Steve57 on Monday 29th January 14:04
They are great, ive had one for abut 6 weeks now with the chime pro extender and it works brilliantly, very clear picture at night as well.
Runs of the rechargeable battery which lasted almost a month and charges overnight.
Thinking of getting the dual light one for the back of the house now as well

The Ring 2 can be powered or battery, I fitted one for a client at the begining of the year and it is really rather good if you just want an intercom system.
I need slightly more functionality for some of my clients, so usually offer DoorBird as well.
