I have one such vacuum myself, from Screwfix, £70. It is basically a decent sized ‘shop vac’. Very useful having the automatic on/off when using the sander. I’d recommend wearing hearing protection if you have a sander and a vacuum going at the same time for a while.

I will definitely be getting one of them, I tend to buy cheap vacuums from Tesco/ASDA when starting a room but they really do not last long!

It is a bit big and noisy just for a simple sanding extractor, but I used it because I had it as a shop vac, and it works well on my saw or sander, with the auto start/stop gadget.
