Would you attach this to the ground or do you think it's heavy enough to not shift?

Looks like a sturdy enough plant pot to me, doubt it will blow over.

Looks to be in a sheltered area.
My concern would be people leaning on a post.

Simple answer is yes, that's a large surface area on the underside of that roof, a strong wind in the right direction will hit your fence and travel up lifting the gazebo.

Wind has a lot of power on a large surface like that.

And once that structure moves it will do a lot of damage to whatever it hits, objects or people.

100% agree, never under estimate the power of wind & a large surface area.

Bolt it down.

Probably unlikely to shift due to the weight.
But if it does get lifted by the wind, it will make a lot of damage due to the weight.
It will need some kind of solid foundation however and meaty anchor bolts.
Fixing to the block paving won't suffice.

It will depend on how well attached the roof is to the rest of the structure. It may well be that in extreme conditions the roof will detach itself.

Yes, that is on reflection the most likely scenario.

I was surprised when a very cheap, fabric, gazebo merrily threw 80Kg of water across my back garden, in a barrel.
To be fair, it was very windy, but that surprised me.

We have something similar and the posts are concreted in, it's what's necessary for these type of constructions.
