Danfoss TP5000 Si wall thermostat - any experts?
Discussion
Trying to work out how to set up this Danfoss TP5000 stat for 24/7 operation, ie no programme times at all (it's for underfloor heating), but after going through the instruction booklet many times, for the life of me I can't work out what I should be doing to get that. It looks like I need option 1, setting 0 in the advanced programming (!) but I'm by no means sure of that.
Anybody brainier than me out there? (shouldn't be difficult ha ha).
Wish they would make a SIMPLE stat without a thousand settings, modes, times etc.

If you program period 1 from (say) 08:00 to 12:00, then period 2 from 12:01 to 18:00, then period 3 from 18:01 to 01:00 and period 4 from 01:01 to 08:00 all at 21 degrees (for example) you'll achieve what you want, won't you?Anybody brainier than me out there? (shouldn't be difficult ha ha).

The TP500 is very programmable so there is probably a way of doing it properly. But there are cheaper stats that will do that for you, and they won't need the battery changing.

Your solution is nicely logical and thanks for that.
Basil, I love you. Don't know how I missed that! Well I do, the manual is too complicated.
Took a bit of prodding and a few restarts but got there in the end, now to see if it works.
While I'm on, I got two of these Danfoss units, one to control the kitchen zone, the other for the wetroom. My friendly spark thinks the wetroom unit needs to be slightly different in some way. Is there any extra wire in there or something? Would it be different?
Sorry for the stupid questions, but the last time I fiddled with electrics about 30 years ago there was a blue flash and I woke up on the floor.

Is he expecting to connect the unit up to a temp probe in the floor?
We use one of these for our bathroom.

Spoken to him, he confirms it is the probe issue as you say. So we're going to abandon the Danfoss and retain the old stat which is practically indecipherable in terms of how it's operated but if we can find that one 24hr option somewhere in there I'll be happy with that. Thanks to all for the info.
Just for closure on this, I cheated this morning and rang Danfoss's helpline. The solution is ridiculously simple – if you know it.
You simply switch the stat to 'frost protection' mode which stops the heat going below 5 deg when you're away (say). Then you crank it up to what you want, eg 21 deg. And that's it. The unit is now working simply as a thermostat. I'd never have thought of that myself but then again I'm not a heating engineer.
Probably a waste of a complicated unit really but I'm just glad it's sorted.
Thanks to all for advice.
