I have 23 glass partitions to remove, the problem is the plastic channel that connects the glass panels together uses a strong adhesive making for slow progress.

Does anyone have any experience of dealing with this issue?

I tried WD40 and it softened things slightly but not enough to pull them apart.

Thanks in advance.

Depends on the adhesive and how intact things need to stay.

Acetone might work or you might need something else.

Indeed it might, try some nail varnish remover.

Xylene based glue remover. Available from chemical factors, sign supply wholesalers, double glazing consumables suppliers.

If they are going to be skipped could you not try running a small angle grinder down the centre of the plastic channel on both sides.

If they are going to be skipped, I'd suggest a hammer.

I had some success using a reciprocating saw. The issue with acetone is actually reaching the glue.
It's long winded but I'm getting through it.

That was my backup plan biggrin

They're not being skipped though, they're on eBay and selling fast so I need to get them down!
