Looking at buying a new house to be closer to work/civilization etc. The house needs a fair bit of work, but in the fortunate position of not needing to sell the current house before moving in so looking at costing things up before going ahead.

SWMBO is toying with the idea of moving a smallish bathroom with the back bedroom which adjoins the bathroom.
Being completely not a builder or plumber I've no idea if this is even a good idea, googling it throws up all sorts of pros/cons of course.

With regards to the logistics, external soil pipe will stay where is but will either need running to existing location internally or new external pipe to meet at a guess.
Pipework for bath & sink will need re routing as well as wastes. (could be done under the floor so no need to have pipes boxed in around the room)
Walls and floors will need waterproofing and guess floors will need supporting/strengthening for extra weight of the bath.

Anyone actually done anything like this before? I've got a figure in my head of £5k which I hope will include the purchase of the new suite, moving of pipes, flooring, tanking, waterproofing, fixtures and fittings and showerboard/tiles.
Happy to have a crack at the majority myself, and the capable assistance of a fellow local PHeader or two biggrin

Any advice on logistics/pricing would be greatly appreciated.
