I ordered last week, because I was getting low, 38ppl. Today 34ppl - bugger!
Can anyone suggest something I can put in the sight glass tube so I can easily see the level. The tube is badly discoloured and it's very difficult to see the level.
Buy a Watchman and have a long stick as a back up. Can anyone suggest something I can put in the sight glass tube so I can easily see the level. The tube is badly discoloured and it's very difficult to see the level.

Similar to me and I also ordered last week at 42ppl and I've just checked and it has gone down to 39ppl. I normally go for either a 3 or 5 day delivery but I could only get a 14 day delivery this time. Alex L said:
There seems to be a location variance too, my parents in Essex always pay a few pence less than I do on the Oxfordshire/South Northants border.
We use about £250 of oil a month and thankfully filled up our 2,000 litre tank last month at around £0.42l which is the cheapest since moving into the house in Sept. Hopefully we won't need a re-fill for a while with the weather warming slightly.

Assuming you have an Atkinson Tankmaster valve, sounds like you need a new sight tube, and a small green ball. http://www.atkinsonequipment.com/product-category/...

Just ordered 1000lites at 23p/l ex. VAT. Was 30p when I clicked 'order' and posted it on the village FB page, a load of people have also ordered so when the confirmation came through this morning it had dropped to 23p. Mental!
My previous PB was 24.59p/l in January 2016 so this is a new record for me since I've been buying oil (early 2015).
Might have an all-day shower to celebrate.

Where's that ^^ from ?
Prices are still all over the place in Warwickshire, I'm being quoted 43 - 32.95 cheapest on Boiler Juice which is a first !
I'm 90% sure it will get cheaper but I doubt by much
Sorry, I missed this. It's from the oil club. I'm in Worcestershire, more or less at the point where Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire meet.Prices are still all over the place in Warwickshire, I'm being quoted 43 - 32.95 cheapest on Boiler Juice which is a first !

That's ridiculously cheap
I hedged my bets and ordered 1000 as I'm sure it will drop further (than my price) at 23p I'd have ordered 4,000 !
Yeah it's mental. Wish I had a bigger tank now! Exige won't be going anywhere for a while, might pop the roof off and fill that up too.I hedged my bets and ordered 1000 as I'm sure it will drop further (than my price) at 23p I'd have ordered 4,000 !
