33sq meters!!!!! for £220k. It was meant to be one two bed bungalow with parking and garden but the greedy developer thought 2 bug hutches would be better. The world has gone mad.
They are pretty grim.

And the rainwater goods have already failed... not a good sign.

I hope the house that sold their garden got paid well because they've absolutely screwed their own value, I'd say. Or maybe Buildy McBuilder built in his own back yard?
It was a pub that got converted into I think 7 bedsits. Those two are in what was the garden. The builder developed the pub then sold the land off with planning.

They are basically a one bed flat with the freehold (hopefully) . How much would a one bed flat cost in the area ? I'd rather have a bit of a court yard than a Julies balcony.

Indeed. Looks like you are paying £50k over a one bed flat for the outside space.

But, there seem to be several bigger houses for a similar price (although might be in worse areas of town etc).

Bricks and mortar for parkhome money.

It's an outdoor pool that's had a very shonky shack built over it.
Looks more like an indoor pool whose roof collapsed years ago and that was their budget repair.

Lots of reasons to not include this in the thread, to be fair, but ... for the forward-thinkers, how's your Grand Designs vision?

Given the cheapest house within a mile is £700k, this might be a bargain, I'm not certain it's a nightmare.
Looks like it's at the edge of a council estate though. It doesn't look like a terrible one, but not exactly a nice one either. Even building it you'd be fighting off people nicking stuff, not that there's anywhere to store materials and tools except within the footprint of the tower itself, which is obstructed by cross-bracing and a pipe, which you'd need to sort before doing anything (and figure out how to remove it without damaging the vehicles parked immediately alongside).

There's also nowhere to park while building it other than under it, as mentioned. The neighbours would be constantly screaming at you to move your vans. And then when all finished, the neighbours (who are very close) would be resentful at the people living in such an extravagant project.

Ha I remember viewing a house many moons ago with a pylon that close, but it wasn’t shown in the photos.

I still give the EA credit for his utter game face.. when my missus looked at it and just said ‘errr what is that?!?’ he sort of craned his neck up as if this was the very first time this incredibly minor thing had come to his attention and just said “oh, is something like that actually a problem for you guys?”

I can't see myself buying a house that close but I guess people must still buy them at relatively normal prices for the area?
