A bungalow with a business opportunity in Fosdyke, Boston.
On the market since November.
Whenever I pass this place on the A17 I think what a strange looking place.

There's some pricey properties on Rightmove in Fosdyke, which I don't really get, as I always think the area generally is so dull and miles from anywhere.

Anyway, back to the bungalow - what's going on with the sofa in the kitchen? pics 11 and 12.

I wouldn't call it a nightmare at all. Okay it needs bringing into the 21 century, they clearly have not tried to prepare it for sale, but it has potential.

The café intrigues me. Its footprint and the space next to it, would be prime building land in many places. And maybe it would be building a house on top of it or adding a second storey. I can't imagine the turn over would give a great yield.

One thing motoring related, I note parking restrictions.

Why not 7pm to 7am ?
Probably to stop trucks overnighting at that spot, cos we hate truckers. Why cant they just drive straight to their destination, then piss straight off again?
Eurpose has much better truck stop infrastructure

But why doesn't the sign say "no parking 7pm to 7 am",
Instead of "No parking Midnight to 7am and 7pm to Midnight.

I agree that Motorway services should have a massive truck park, and be free.

The number of A road laybys where truckers are staying overnight with zero facilities is another reason why this country is st.

OK, not a nightmare, but utterly charmless.

I like the giant googly-eyes mirrors.

The rest, as you say, is charmless, but possibly a decent base to build on.

At least the grass is real.

Had to google Tegan Harrison, thought it was a Dr Who companion but it's an Australian jockey.

Ps. RAF Coningsby flight path.

Well, he's made an effort... But why bother for a 'ready made investment property'?

Bringing in a 10% ROI for the buyer they can dream of buying loads of trinkets from premier sellers of tat.

Spend £22m on a Grosvenor Square pad, furnish it in a largely pleasant but somewhat bland way, but have your own nightmare fuel in the form of life size policeman watching you sleep.

One would imagine multiple images captures from one angle with different lighting settings, to even out the shadows.
Similar to lots of seafront houses somehow having amazingly detailed views through the window AND the interior at the same time.
It’s all edited down in layers in photoshop.

Christ. You'd want a haz-mat suit to even walk through the front door.

I always find it really depressing to see kids' toys in places like that too.

"fairly big letters"? barely noticed biggrin

That definitely qualifies as a nightmare. A very depressing one at the same time watching that video... got to wonder what happened...
