Yep. Why on earth doesn't the EA take the hit of £150, to hire a large skip, completely empty the place, so a walk around vid can show bare rooms needing painting? Also spend an hour hoovering, mowing the lawns, closing kitchen cupboard boards, and putting draws back in.

Finally, as the EA, I'd be asking Google to blur the nonce graffiti. I can imagine anyone being wary of buying a nonces house, for fear of mistaken targeting. Waking up to a petrol bomb thrown through your window aint a great selling point.

How much did it sell for? it wouldn't take much to make it OK (apart from the history!)

£36k - https://www.bondwolfe.com/auctions/properties/2399...

It wouldn't cost that much to tart it up to a lettable standard, and even in Hartlepool I'd imagine you'd get an excellent return on your investment.

Or has it been bought for the inevitable sell on to housing developers for a nice profit. All the old houses have gone from opposite to replaced with new builds.

You'd more likely get the 'return' of the people who made the mess in the first place.

Christ. You'd want a haz-mat suit to even walk through the front door.

I always find it really depressing to see kids' toys in places like that too.
Talking of which.....

This is in the same village as I grew up in and my parents, sister and youngest niece still live in.

That has been on the market for a long time.
It's on a small plot with a primary school close by and is overrun with Cheshire Wives Wannabes in their Evoques at school drop off/pick up.

Think it's owned by a family who have now moved abroad.

By contrast this is £250k cheaper and on a much nicer road.

"fairly big letters"? barely noticed biggrin

That definitely qualifies as a nightmare. A very depressing one at the same time watching that video... got to wonder what happened...
A bit of internetting revealed this - could be the previous resident (same road, noncey offence).

As with lots of stuff in the "flyover states" area of America where land is cheap.... I keep looking enviously at the "20 car garage with a house attached" type of properties retailing for just a few hundred K in "nowheresville" states hehe

I don't mind the house tbh but the interior is bland as fk. The lack of anything in the garden is sad too, it's crying out for some proper planting.

Don't have to flyover, airport is just down the road.

Anyone fancy a house where one of your upstairs rooms is technically owned by somebody else? hehe

And yet they still list it as detached! Surely its a large flat as I cant see what other definition it meets.
