Is it just me that sees a bit of a dichotomy in the phrase ‘ordering coal online’?

If you go to somewhere like "The Range" or B&M Homestores just around now you may find that their coal is reduced for summer

I have seen a few places still selling Columbian doubles but the last few times my dad bought some it wasn’t very good at all. It didn’t give out much heat, spat a lot and made a lot of ash.

Plus I intend on taking the open fire out and fitting a multi fuel stove so house coal would be no good for that.
Most multifuel stoves should have no problem with it, although for presumably arse-covering reasons they say not to use anything other than anthracite or smokeless fuel. The main down side would be the amount of ash and clinker left, meaning more frequent cleaning.
