It's how they got into the ceiling void at our last house - up a disused soil stack in the garage and into the old bathroom...................

We have two pet rats - they're immensely sweet, trainable and friendly. Even answer to their names.

However, they are superb climbers and jumpers. They've climbed straight up a 5 foot high metal lamp stand for example, and can easily leap up onto a chair. I'd not bet against them!
